HomeLead may allow users to connect third-party lead generation, communications, scheduling, marketing, or business platforms. Examples may include services such as Thumbtack, Yelp, Google, Meta platforms, website forms, messaging platforms, CRM/business platforms, calendar services, and other supported services.

When you choose to connect an external service, HomeLead may receive and process information made available by that service according to the permissions you authorize and the capabilities of the integration.

Possible information from connected services may include business/profile information, leads, customer inquiries, project requests, customer contact information, messages, conversation history, lead status, appointments, related metadata, and other information provided by the connected service.

HomeLead only accesses protected account data after the user authorizes the connection through the applicable integration or authorization process. Where supported, integrations may use OAuth or another secure authorization mechanism provided by the third-party service.

The scope of information HomeLead can access depends on the service, the permissions granted, the user's settings, and the API or functionality offered by that service.

When AI-assisted features are used, relevant lead, customer, project, and conversation information may be processed as necessary to provide the requested functionality. AI processing may involve third-party service providers where applicable.

Users remain responsible for reviewing communications, recommendations, and business decisions produced with AI assistance.

05

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information.

HomeLead may share or process information with service providers that help operate HomeLead, including hosting and cloud infrastructure, databases, authentication, communications, AI infrastructure, monitoring and security, analytics, mapping and location services, and other operational vendors.

Information may also be exchanged with connected services when required to perform actions requested or authorized by the user. For example, if a user sends a response through a connected platform, HomeLead may transmit that response and required associated data to that platform.

We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, security needs, fraud prevention, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of HomeLead, our users, customers, or others.

06

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. These safeguards may include encrypted connections, access controls, secure credential and token handling, monitoring, and security practices appropriate for the operation of HomeLead.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

07

Authentication, Tokens, and Connected Accounts

Some integrations may require HomeLead to securely store authorization tokens or similar credentials. These credentials are used only for authorized integration operations.

Users may disconnect supported integrations. After disconnection, HomeLead should stop requesting new protected data using that authorization. Previously imported data may remain in HomeLead until deleted according to account or data settings, or through a verified deletion request.

08

Data Retention

Retention periods depend on the type of information, how it is used, and applicable legal or operational requirements.

  • Account data may be retained while the HomeLead account remains active.
  • Business and customer records may be retained to provide HomeLead functionality.
  • Connected-service data may be retained as reasonably necessary to provide the integration.
  • Security and legal records may be retained where required.

09

Data Deletion

HomeLead may need to verify account ownership. After a verified request, eligible information may be deleted or anonymized, subject to information HomeLead must retain for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or operational reasons.

Disconnecting a third-party integration does not necessarily delete information that was previously imported into HomeLead.

Request data deletion

Users may request deletion of their HomeLead account and eligible stored personal information by contacting support@homelead.org.
